Rotary Provides Covid-19 Funding to Local Non Profits
Non Profits serving the Homeless And Families In Need

The Rotary Club of Cupertino (www.cupertinorotary.org) has embarked on a major effort to support and donate funding to 6 local non-profit agencies serving the homeless and familes due to the increasing demand for shelter, food, and other necessities especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The six non-profit recipients are : Homefirst Services, West Valley Community Services, Our Daily Bread, YWCA Women’s Shelter, and JW House, respectively.
“We are thrilled to provide over $12,000 in grant funding to help these five local non-profits continue serving our local community, families and children, especially now during this vulnerable time,” said Padma Chari, president of Cupertino Rotary.

The grant money will be disseminated to:
HomeFirst Services, a leading provider of services, shelter, and housing opportunities to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Santa Clara County. They serve more than 5,000 adults, veterans, families, and youth each year at nine locations including their Boccardo Reception Center, which is the county’s largest homeless services center. West Valley Community Services is fighting poverty by providing critical food, housing, and support services to the low income and homeless individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, and West San Jose. (www.wvcommunityservices.org)

JW House, located on the campus of Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center, JW House welcomes families and individuals from area hospitals into our family for rest and self-care during the day or overnight while their loved one is in the hospital. (www.jwhouse.org)
