Rotary Talks Turkey Then Delivers it

Cupertino Rotary sets out again on Thanksgiving to provide turkey and all the fixins to those who have a tough time providing on their own.

As in years past during the season of giving the Cupertino Rotary sets out on Thanksgiving morning to hoist a few turkeys around—well, maybe they do a little more than just hoist them.

“At 9 a.m. at the Safeway parking lot on Hollenbeck, just north of Homestead, some 50 volunteers from the Cupertino Rotary Club will meet to socialize a bit, then pick up and deliver 100 Thanksgiving dinners to needy families throughout Cupertino and surrounding towns, identified by our local school districts, West Valley Community Services, Live Oak Adult Day Services and RotaCare,” says Rod Sinks.

Sinks, a Cupertino City Councilmember is also Co-Chair of the Rotary’s 2012 Thanksgiving Feast Distribution.
