Steer Clear Of De La Cruz Blvd., Santa Clara Commuters

The city's Public Works Dept. will undergo major roadwork next week on the roadway and its ramps.

SANTA CLARA, CA — Pack your patience into your car next week. Major roadwork on the tri-level of De La Cruz Boulevard in Santa Clara is planned starting Monday as follows:

-Sept. 16-20

  • Full and partial ramp closures on the De La Cruz Boulevard Tri-Level for street repair work
  • Detours will be provided for full ramp closures
  • Contractor expects to complete the work within the end of the work week

Phase I: Sept. 16 and 17
Full ramp closure hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A. Alviso Street from Harrison Street to De La Cruz Boulevard
B. De La Cruz Boulevard eastbound to Coleman Avenue southbound
C. De La Cruz Boulevard southbound to Coleman Avenue southbound

Phase II: Sept. 18
Lane closure hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A. De La Cruz Boulevard from Reed Street to El Camino Real
Full ramp closure hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
B. De La Cruz Boulevard eastbound to De La Cruz Boulevard northbound
C. De La Cruz Boulevard westbound to El Camino Real westbound/northbound
Full ramp closure hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
D. Coleman Avenue northbound to De La Cruz Boulevard westbound

Phase III: Sept. 19
Lane closure hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A. De La Cruz Boulevard to Lewis Street
Full ramp closure hours: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
B. El Camino Real northbound to De La Cruz Boulevard
