Wednesday June 22
Residential Burglary – 800 Blk. Helena
Time: 1115 – 1200
An unknown suspect entered the residence by cutting the screen of an open window and stole an antique firearm.
Attempted Residential Burglary – 1000 Blk. Rockefeller
Time: 0930 – 1130
An unknown suspect removed the screen from an open window but did not make entry into the residence.
Thursday June 23
Armed Robbery – 700 Blk. S. Mathilda
Time: 0830
The victim was walking in an apartment complex when approached by two suspects. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and demanded property from the victim, which the victim turned over. The other suspect ripped a gold chain from the victim’s neck. Both suspects fled on foot and were not apprehended.
Possession of Drugs/Possession of Burglary Tools – 900 Blk. W. Weddell
Time: 1720
An officer on patrol located two subjects in an apparent drug transaction in a hotel parking lot. One of the subjects fled on a bicycle and was ultimately arrested after jumping fences into surrounding apartment complexes. The suspect was in possession of drugs and burglary tools.
Friday June 24
Residential Burglary – 800 Blk. Inverness
Time: 1150 – 1700
An unknown suspect removed a window screen and then entered the residence via a rear bedroom window. The suspect stole cash and other miscellaneous property.
Possession of Burglary Tools – 100 Blk. Waverly
Time: 1921
An officer saw a subject loitering near a backyard fence of a residence. The officer contacted the subject and it was determined the subject had an outstanding arrest warrant for drugs. It was also determined the subject was in possession of burglary tools. The subject was arrested and booked into County Jail.
Mutual Aid – Kern County
Sunnyvale Engine 41 was deployed as part of a Santa Clara County Strike Team to the Erskine Fire and was assigned to structure protection in the Lake Isabella area.
Saturday June 25
Residential Burglary – 1500 Blk. Hollenbeck
Time: 6/15 0600 – 6/25 0930
An unknown suspect removed the screen from an unlocked rear window and stole jewelry.
Residential Burglary – 1500 Blk. Hollenbeck
Time: 6/20 2030 – 6/25 0957
An unknown suspect removed the screen from an unlocked rear window and stole a TV and electronics.
