Target Plans To Close One Cupertino Location: Report
Target has two stores in Cupertino within blocks of each other on Stevens Creek Boulevard. One of them is reportedly closing in June.

CUPERTINO, CA — Target will shutter two Bay Area locations, including one in Cupertino, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The other location is in San Francisco.
Target has two stores in Cupertino within blocks of each other on Stevens Creek Boulevard, and it plans to close the store at 19499 Stevens Creek Boulevard, which is part of a shopping and restaurant complex called Main Street that opened in 2016. The location will shut down on June 26.
The Chronicle reported that the closures come despite Target experiencing a record $15 billion in revenue growth in 2020, and that Target officials maintained that the decision was not made because of the pandemic. Target has plans to expand elsewhere in the Bay Area.
