What A Median-Priced Home Looks Like In Danville

What would you say is the average home in Danville?

If you go by the median price, this could be it.

Last week, Data Quik released figures on the median price for homes in every town in the East Bay.  The price included condominiums and townhouses as well as single-family homes.

In the 94526 zip code of Danville, the median price of 58 homes sold in April was $818,000. That was a 23 percent increase over a year ago.

A home listed just above that, at $849,000, is this Danville house. 

The home, which was built in 1995, is 2,325 square feet and sits on a tenth of an acre.
