Foreclosed Homes Average $93K Lower Sales Price in July in Yolo County
Foreclosures hit Esparto and Yolo the hardest in July

The average resale price for a foreclosed home in Yolo County in July was $93,000 lower than other homes on the market, according to data released by RealtyTrac.Â
Also, the number of foreclosures in the county continues to decline. It was 34 percent lower in July than in June and down 82 percent from a year ago, the real estate trends service reported.
Home sales for June 2013 were down 7 percent compared with the previous month, but increased 14 percent when compared with a year ago. The median sales price of a non-distressed home was $297,500. The median sales price of a foreclosure home was $205,000.
Foreclosures hit Yolo and the Esparto the hardest. One in every 156 homes in Yolo and one of every 677 in Esparto were in foreclosure. The rates were also troubling in West Sacramento (one in 1,034) and Woodland (one in 2,228).

One out of 2,252 in Yolo County is under distress. Davis bucks that average with one out of 27,441 homes in foreclosure.Â
