Valitar Creditors, Employees Still Waiting to Get Paid

A bankruptcy court sifting through what is left of the Valitar horse show—which left employees and creditors with millions in unpaid bills and paychecks—has been able to recover around $600,000, U-T San Diego reported.

The show featured dozens of horses and almost 30 performers in a giant tent on the Del Mar Fairgrounds, but a lack of interest and poor management resulted in the show being cancelled after a handful of performances.

Equipment and horses from the show are in the process of being auctioned off and lawyers are going through the lengthy bankruptcy process.
