AAPI Month: Walnut To Host Talent Showcase
The city partnered with the Chinese American Association of Walnut to highlight the city's Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

WALNUT, CA — City officials partnered with the Chinese American Association of Walnut to host an online talent showcase Thursday to highlight local community members as part of Asian American and Pacific Islander month.
The showcase will take place through Zoom and will feature videos of musical performances from members of Walnut’s Asian American and Pacific Islander community, the city said in a statement.
Walnut Mayor Bob Pacheco will co-host the event. Pacheco was inspired to help put on the event after seeing similar musical performances earlier this month at the mayor’s prayer breakfast, he said in a statement.
