Bites Nearby: Kyala Japanese Restaurant
Love sushi? Don't love sushi? Kyala has something for you, and they've had it for nearly 20 years.
You could drive around searching for local eats until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Diamond Bar Patch picks a great restaurant in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:
, owned by Yoshikazu and Michiko Tanaka, has been serving up authentic Japanese cuisine for over 10 years right near the heart of town (Diamond Bar Boulevard and Grand). The restuarant, located inconspicuously next to the Ralph's supermarket, brings fresh fish from Los Angeles and new recipes from Japan right into Diamond Bar.
Yoshi and Michi are well versed in the art of preparing sushi, though Yoshi also loves to cook. If you're looking for unique local eats, Kyala is it, and that's why it's our pick of the week.
