DIAMOND BAR
Friday, April 8
Burglary — a business on Grand Avenue was reportedly broken into with no items reported stolen. An informant told police that someone had entered the building and did damage to drywall and the alarm unit at the building but did not steal any property.

Sunday, April 10
Vehicle Burglary — an emergency preparedness kit and backpack was stolen from a vehicle on Tranforan Lane between 11 p.m. Sunday, April 10 and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19. Officers found the rear window of the vehicle had been shattered.

Vehicle Burglary — a man reported that someone had stolen a DVD monitor and made an attempt to steal a DVD player from the center console of a car parked at a home on Maple Hill Drive between 8 p.m. Friday, April 8 and Sunday, April 10. The victim reported that his doors had been locked but found all of the doors to the vehicle unlocked after the incident.
Monday, April 11
Shoplifting — a female suspect reportedly stole three t-bone steaks and one Chuck steak from the Albertson's market at 2:10 p.m. A store employee said he witnessed the woman enter the store and proceed to the meat department where she selected several steaks she later concealed in a large handbag in aisle #10.
The store employee told officers that he asked the woman where she was going with the concealed meats and she responded, "what meats?" The woman proceeded to the front door and entered a black truck where the male suspect was waiting. The store employee had written down the license plate number and the vehicle was tracked to an owner in the city of Azusa.
Tuesday, April 12
Vehicle Burglary — a GPS system was reported stolen from a vehicle on Decorah Road between 10 p.m. and 4:35 a.m. the following morning. One driver's side window was found shattered by officers at the scene.
Wednesday, April 13
Vehicle Burglary — an estimated $50 in DVDs was reported stolen from a vehicle on Golden Springs Drive around between 6:33 and 7:55 p.m. Officers found the rear driver's side window of the vehicle had been shattered.
Thursday, April 14
Petty Theft — a Diamond Bar High School student reported $135 stolen from a backpack between the hours of 2:15 and 2:45 p.m. after forgetting the bag in a classroom.
Sunday, April 17
Shoplifting, Battery with Injury, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol — a 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with a series of crimes after allegedly stealing a bottle of vodka from the Super H Mart on South Diamond Bar Boulevard and punching an employee of that store who pursued the suspect after he and a 15-year-old female reportedly left the store without paying for bottles of vodka.
As the suspects ran from the store, the male threw the bottle to the ground and both fled toward a vehicle that store employees said contained two males. The fleeing male suspect reportedly punched one of the employees in the face while the female suspect entered the car and left in an unknown direction.
Store employees detained the male suspect until officers arrived. They later identified each of the suspects in connection with the crime. Three of the suspects in connection with the crime are minors.
WALNUT
Friday, April 8
Shoplifting — two bottles of alcohol were reported stolen by store employees at the Albertson's on Amar Road at 9:18 p.m.
Saturday, April 9
Vandalism — a case of tagging was reported at the Domino's on Amar Road after the suspect had ordered a pizza at the restaurant. According to police reports, the suspect entered the store and ordered a pizza before returning to a brown sedan and retrieving an aerosol can with which he tagged the front of the restaurant.
Sunday, April 10
Vandalism — a man reported his car tires had been slashed at a home on Colona Drive between the hours of 3 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday morning. The victim said he did not know the reason for the incident.
Petty Theft — a woman reported two lion statues stolen from her front yard around 4:30 p.m. on Sutter Creek Drive. Police reports note that a similar crime occurred earlier that day in the same area.
Monday, April 11
Vandalism — a minor suspect was identified in connection with reported graffiti vandalism at Wells Fargo and Ron Hockwalt academies between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. the following morning.
Grand Theft — an estimated $1,134 in baseball equipment was reportedly stolen from an unsecured truck bed on Dapple Grey Circle between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the following morning.
Wednesday, April 13
Grand Theft — a woman reported an Apple laptop stolen during a musical event at Mt. San Antonio College around 4 p.m. after the computer was left on a table near the event.
Theft — a Walnut High School student reported an Apple iPhone stolen after a lunch during which she said the phone had been on the table. Officers were able to track the phone to a location in Pomona but reports did not indicate if the phone was ultimately discovered.
Petty Theft — a student at Suzanne Middle School reported a cellphone stolen between 11:37 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. from a backpack at the school. The victim's mother received an insulting text message shortly after the phone was reportedly stolen.
Vandalism — a homeowner reported a window broken at a home on Castle Hill Drive between the hours of 2:45 and 5:30 p.m.
