Car Chase Takes Jaunt Through Diamond Bar on 57 Freeway

A car chase that began in the Inland Empire on the 10 freeway made its way south on the 57 and down into Orange County on the 22, where the suspect was arrested without incident, according to CHP reports.

A car chase that began in the Inland Empire made its way through Diamond Bar on the 57 freeway Tuesday night around 9 p.m.

CHP officer Krystal Carter said the chase began around 8:33 p.m. after a load fell off of a pickup truck with a camper shell and the driver refused to pull over.

The chase made its way into L.A. County on the westbound 10 freeway, headed south on the 57 freeway, and ended on the westbound Garden Grove (22) freeway at the Euclid Avenue offramp in Orange County.

The chase ended at 9:19 p.m. and was not called a high-speed chase, Carter said. The suspect was taken in without incident, according to CHP reports.
