Friday's concert will feature all three orchestras from Chaparral: the beginning Prelude Orchestra, the sixth-, seventh-, and eight-grade Philharmonia Orchestra, and another performance from the eighth-grade Sinfonia Orchestra.

The Chaparral Philharmonia and Sinfonia orchestras were recently honored by being selected to perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in May. Chaparral was the only middle school orchestra selected for the concert and only four orchestras were selected to perform for the May event.
