City Council to Vote on Budget, Elections

The Diamond Bar city council will look to approve a budget and announce municipal elections to be held Nov. 8.

The Diamond Bar City Council has a full plate for Tuesday night's meeting, with an annual budget up for approval and a notice for city and school board elections to be set for Nov. 8.

The proposed budget comes in at $22.7 million with expected revenue of $23.1 million. The use of $4.1 million in city reserves for improvement projects and parks projects — like the addition of a dog park plan for Pantera Park — will reduce the city's surplus from $21.1 million to $17.3 million.
