The Diamond Bar High class of 2011 set many milestones, Principal Catherine Real said during the school's graduation ceremony Thursday night.
"Class of 2011, you have been amazing," Real said.

For the first time in the school's history, the 804-member class of 2011 counts among its members two , a , and a .
"I am confident you will represent Diamond Bar High School not just as global citizens but as global leaders," Real said. "You have forever changed our culture and history."

Class president Claudine Cho gave a bittersweet farewell to the class she said had grown together as a family.
"Whether you were a tri-sport athlete, a member of the science olympiad, a member of the 2011 class committee, or one of the brilliant seniors roaming the halls, our titles simply didn't matter when we came together as one," Cho said.
