Coroner IDs Pasadena Man, Struck And Killed On 57 Freeway
A pedestrian struck and killed Monday near the 57 freeway onramp was identified as a 65-year-old Pasadena resident.
DIAMOND BAR, CA — A pedestrian fatally struck by a car on a Pomona street was identified, authorities say.
Edward Albano, 65, of Pasadena died at the scene of the collision, which occurred just after midnight, Monday on Temple Boulevard near the Orange (57) Freeway onramp, according to the coroner's office and the Pomona Police Department.
The motorist, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation, police said.
