Diamond Bar High Senior Wins Edison Scholarship

Gabriella Momah was awarded a $2,500 college scholarship from Edison International. Momah has won numerous awards during her time at Diamond Bar High.

Diamond Bar High School senior Gabriella Momah is collecting scholarships along her path to Stanford University in the fall.

Momah recently received a $2,500 college scholarship from Edison International.

Earlier this year, Momah was named as one of two Gates Millenium Scholars at Diamond Bar High.

The Edison scholarship is a one-year scholarship that can be renewed for another three years. A total of 900 seniors applied for the award and 125 were selected from schools in areas served by Edison.

The award was open to students majoring in math, physics, chemistry, engineering, materials science, or computer science.

Momah said she plans on majoring in chemical engineering and business with hopes of becoming a CEO of an engineering firm.
