DRHS Casino Night Fundraiser to Lighten Budget Woes

The Diamond Ranch Panther Pride Association will host its annual casino night on Saturday evening to help raise money for the school's programs and activities.

"We all know that the economic situation is tough and this is one way to give back to the clubs, students, and the school," Panther Pride representative Becky Duckworth said at a school board meeting Wednesday night.

Duckworth said that all proceeds go to school programs and clubs to help cover regular and unforseen expenses — like new baseball bats to meet a CIF regulation that changed this year, Duckworth said.

Attendees will also be able to designate which club their donation will benefit.

and prices are set at $25 for individuals and $40 for couples.

The night begins with dinner from 6 - 7:30 p.m. with gaming from 7 - 11 p.m.
