Leave Earlier: Lane Closures Hit Major City Streets
Three of the city's major roads will have lane closures throughout the week to for slurry sealing that is expected to end Friday. The city advises that delays should be expected.

Lanes will be closed on three major city streets in Diamond Bar through the end of the week, causing increased traffic congestion.
A release issued Tuesday from the city said work is expected to continue through Friday on parts of Diamond Bar Boulevard, Brea Canyon Road, and Golden Springs to slurry seal portions of those roads.
Until then, commuters and residents are advised to avoid certain portions of these roads or to begin commutes or travel earlier than usual.

At least one lane of traffic will be open at all times on the portions of road concerned:
- Work on Brea Canyon will take place between Pathfinder Road and Copper Canyon Road.
- Work on Diamond Bar Boulevard will take place between Sunset Crossing Road and Temple Avenue.
- Work on Golden Springs Drive will take place between Diamond Bar Boulevard and Grand Avenue.
