Man Arrested In Killing Of His Mother And Brother In Diamond Bar
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department took Eric Kwan into custody in the deaths of his mother and brother last Friday.

DIAMOND BAR — A man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held on $2 million bail in connection with the deaths of his mother and brother in a Diamond Bar house last Friday.
Eric Kwan, 28, was arrested in the killing Loretta Ho, 55, and Edward Kwan, 23, whose bodies were found in their Diamond Bar house. Kwan did not live with his mother and brother, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Brandon Dean.
Kwan was arrested shortly after the killings. He is scheduled to be arraigned June 17, according to the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office. He faces two counts of murder.

Sheriff’s deputies with the Walnut Station responded to a call just before 10 p.m. of an assault with a deadly weapon at a house in the 1500 block of Kiowa Crest on Friday, the department said. They found Ho and Edward Kwan unresponsive inside.
Ho had been fatally stabbed, Dean said. Kwan was shot and stabbed, he said. The two were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other suspects are being sought in the killings, and a motive is not known at this time.
