Man Killed In Pomona Shooting

POMONA, CA — A man was killed in a shooting in Pomona and the shooter was at large Saturday morning.

Officers responded at 8 p.m. Friday to the 600 block of East Jefferson Avenue and found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, the Pomona Police Department reported.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A motive for the shooting and description of the shooter were not available.

The name of the victim will be released pending notification of next of kin, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
