National Night Out is set to return to Walnut this August to give residents the chance to throw a summer celebration with deputies from the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station.

The annual event is meant to help foster friendly relationships between the community and law enforcement officers in a relaxed environment, city officials said. This year’s event will be held at Creekside Park and will also include a concert in addition to game booths and displays from the sheriff's station.

Food trucks will be on hand to provide meals and drinks for attendees.
