Pomona Boy Detained in Diamond Bar, Suspected of Killing Grandfather
A 14 year-old Pomona boy was detained in Diamond Bar, armed with a knife and telling police that he had harmed his grandfather. The police found the boy's grandfather dead at his a home on the 1800 block of Grier Street at 12:30 p.m. today.
Police are looking for information in connection with a suspected murder on the 1800 block of Grier Street in Pomona.
Officers apprehended the suspect — a 14-year-old boy — in Diamond Bar, where they found the boy armed with a knife. The boy told police that he had harmed his grandfather.
The boy's grandfather, 73-year-old Bruno Rodriguez, was found dead when officers arrived on the scene at 12:30 p.m. today.

The boy was taken to Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall where he was booked for homicide.
