Sheriff's Blotter: Marijuana Grow Bust, Burglaries, and Thefts in Recent Crime

This blotter is a list of crimes reported Jan. 2-9.

A suspect arrested last Tuesday at a Walnut home that had an estimated $1 million worth of plants growing was among the crimes reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Walnut-Diamond Bar station.

Burglaries and thefts also were among the recent crimes reported in Diamond Bar and Walnut.

The following blotter includes crimes reported from Jan. 2-9.

Diamond Bar

Thursday, Jan. 9

  • Grand theft vehicle - reported at 11 p.m. in the 20800 block of Rocky Point Lane.
Tuesday, Jan 7
  • Vehicle burglary - reported at 7:30 p.m. in the 20800 block of Golden Springs Drive.
  • Residential burglary - reported at 3:07 p.m. in the 21300 block of Pinehill Lane.
  • Residential burglary - reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 300 block of South Del Sol Lane.
  • Grand theft - reported at 1 p.m. in the 21400 block of Pathfinder Road.

Saturday, Jan. 4

  • Residential burglary - reported at noon in the 1000 block of Grand Ave.
  • Vehicle burglary - reported at 11 p.m. in the 21200 block of Davan St.

Friday, Jan. 3

  • Petty theft - reported at 1:30 p.m. in the 21700 block of Copley Drive.

Tuesday, Jan. 7
  • Residential burglary - reported at 11 a.m. in the 1400 block of Kem Way.
