Sheriff's Now Say No Female Suspects in Diamond Bar Burglary, One Male Suspect Sought
Sheriff's are continuing a search for one male suspect after a reported burglary-in-progress Monday afternoon in the 23000 block of Chandelle Place in North Diamond Bar.

One male burglary suspect is still on the run and two are in custody after a home invasion burglary reported in the 23000 block of Chandelle Place Monday afternoon.

The suspect that remains on the loose is described as a 20 to 22-year-old male standing approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds.

An said the vehicle had Oklahoma license plates. Lt. Steve Katz — the newly-appointed head of the Walnut/Diamond Bar Detective Bureau — said at the scene that the vehicle had California license plates.
The search then led officers to discover a broken window with blood on the glass at a home on Gold Rush Drive, which prompted K-9 and SWAT units to search the home.
The residents were not home at the time of the search.
Two male suspects — one with longer hair, who was identified in previous reports as a female — were found in the attic of the home and refused to surrender to Sheriff's.
The officers used pepper spray on the suspects, which brought one suspect down. The other suspect became "assaultive," according to police reports, and a K-9 dog was used to bite the suspect to stop him.
Both suspects were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment before they were to be booked at the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff's station, according to Lt. Katz.
Sheriff's did not release the names or booking information of the suspects as of 7 a.m. Tuesday.
