Sheriff's sent officers to respond to a family disturbance shortly after 2 p.m. near Chaparral Middle School.

Sheriff's responded to a family disturbance call Thursday in the 2300 block of Aspen Knoll Drive, near , shortly after 2 p.m. that Sgt. Steve Perez said has been cleared by Sheriff's deputies.
Several units as well as paramedics responded to the scene because of what Sgt. Perez said is a potential for family disturbances to turn into a felony.
"Generally, we'll send in more [deputies] than for a disturbance between roommates, because of the potential it could turn into a felony because of that family relationship," Sgt. Perez said.
