Teachers have made many California headlines during the first months of 2011 as education budgets are debated in Sacramento and elsewhere. 

But Teacher Appreciation Day and Week gives time for headlines to cover the work and dedication of teachers you appreciate in our community. 

In recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day, Patch is asking you to tell us about your favorite teachers. 

As journalists, the untold story is our bread and butter, and we want to hear from parents, students, administrators, and staff, about the work that teachers are doing inside and outside of the classroom to educate our children.
