Three Shot In San Gabriel Valley Home, One Dies

A man was found dead, two others were taken to the hospital by ambulance after police responded to a shooting at a West Covina home.

WEST COVINA, CA —Two men, and a woman, were shot at a West Covina home overnight. One died at the scene, and another remains at the hospital in critical condition, police reported.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1100 block of East Larkwood Street, west of South Lark Ellen Avenue, at 9:15 p.m. Monday. There, they discovered the three gunshot victims, according to Lt. Travis Tibbetts of the West Covina Police Department.

One man was pronounced dead by first responders, and the second man suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital, according to reports. The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Tibbetts said.

No identities were released as of this report, and a detailed description of the shooter was not disclosed. Police did confirm a homicide investigation was underway.
