Vandalism — A number of windows at Burger King were vandalized between Tuesday night and Monday morning, estimated at $2,000 of damage.

Burglary — A vehicle was burglarized between the hours of 6:45 and 7:42 p.m on the 1900 block of Del Sol Lane. The victim found his garage door opener stolen and his garage door was open after the incident, though he reported no stolen items from the garage. The suspect also stole a GPS unit from the car.

Possession of a concealed/loaded firearm — A Corona man was arrested during a traffic stop and booked for possession of a concealed firearm and possession of a loaded firearm.

The officer stopped Eric Anthony Falcon, 32, near Grand Avenue and Montefino Avenue at around 4 p.m. because Falcon’s 2003 Hummer did not have a front license plate.

According to police reports, the suspect began to reach for a backpack on the front passenger’s seat during the stop and the officer asked Falcon to step out of the car before conducting a search of the vehicle and finding a loaded semi-automatic pistol.

Receiving stolen property — A man was arrested near the intersection of Avenida Rancheros and Golden Springs Drive under suspicion of knowingly receiving a number of stolen license plates from Tennessee, Nebraska, Virginia, Texas, West Virginia, Washington, and Georgia. He was apprehended at around 1:45 p.m.

Police reports indicate that the officer initially stopped the suspect for erratic driving and during the traffic stop smelled marijuana coming from the car. The suspect told the officer that there was marijuana in the trunk, but the officer found only a number of out of state license plates that the suspect said he knew to be stolen.

Tuesday, Feb. 1

Petty theft — A man reported a wallet and nearly $200 in cash stolen from a business on the 20000 block of Walnut Drive between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Burglary — An iPod and $500 in cash were stolen from a home on the 300 block of McAlester Drive between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The victim told police that his mother was home at the time of the incident but had left for a walk, returning to find a bedroom in the home ransacked. The victim found a sliding door at the rear of the home unlocked after the incident.

Thursday, Jan. 27

Grand theft — A pallet containing 114 bags of stucco estimated at $1,900 in total were stolen from a business on the 19000 block of Highland Terrace sometime between Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

Sunday, Jan. 31

Petty theft — A man reported that his center console had been ransacked and the owner’s manual to his car, valued at $10, had been stolen from his car sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
