[VIDEO] One Starfish at a Time: Arbor Day and Earth Day

Third grader Omari Thompson led the presentation of just one of the classes presenting at Friday morning's Arbor Day celebration. The other performances included: 

  • 1st grade: singing "The Green Grass Grows"
  • 2nd grade: singing "Circle of Life"
  • 3rd grade: Omari Thompson and an Arbor Day acrostic 
  • 4th grade: singing "The Forest is a Pharmacy"
  • 5th grade: with Evelyn Lee and Mikayla Pedroza reading the poem "Trees" by Harry Behn
  • 6th grade: telling Arbor Day jokes and Chloe Reyes singing "Imagine"
