Walnut Alleged Burglar Wanted in Rancho Palos Verdes Similar Crime
A man in custody for his part in a Walnut burglary is also suspected of a Rancho Palos Verde similar crime, authorities say.

WALNUT, CA — A suspect in custody for a nighttime burglary in Walnut on Nov. 4 is also a person of interest in a Rancho Palos Verdes home invasion from Nov. 1.
Deandre Lee Anthony Brown, a 29-year-0ld Los Angeles resident, was arrested regarding a Nov. 4 robbery in Walnut. Brown is still in custody for that crime, according to Capt. Dan Beringer of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station.
Brown is one of two suspects in a Van Karajan Drive burglary three days prior, where a 90-year-old man was tied up in his Rancho Palos Verdes home.

As second alleged suspect in that home invasion was arrested Monday.
Tequan Terrill Bealey, 25, of San Pedro, was arrested without incident at his home, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities state Bealey was one of two suspected men who broke into the victim's home in the 2000 block of Van Karajan Drive about 10:50 p.m. on Nov. 1.
The victim, who lived alone, was found sleeping in his bedroom and was then tied up while the suspects ransacked the house, according to the sheriff's department.
The suspects left about 45 minutes later, after which the man -- whose name was withheld -- was able to free himself and went to a neighbor's home to summon help. He suffered a small laceration near his eye but the injury did not warrant a hospital visit, according to the sheriff's department.
There was no word if Bealey was also wanted in the Walnut burglary.
