Walnut Invites You To the 1st Mayor's Cup Badminton Tournament
Grab a birdie and play some badminton at the Mayor's Cup Badminton Tournament!

WALNUT, CA — It's time to test your badminton skills, Walnut residents! The City of Walnut invites the community to compete in the inaugural Mayor’s Cup Badminton Tournament. The tournament is open to all levels; C, D, E, Novice and Advance with both Single and Double Events.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skill, meet other badminton athletes, and win prizes sponsored by Yonex, a world leader in badminton equipment. The opening ceremony will also be presented by City of Walnut Mayor, Mary Su and World Champion and Olympian, Ying Chen.
“I look forward to seeing all the great talent here in Walnut community,” said Chen, “It will be a great day with fierce competition and lots of fun!”

The cost is $30 for one event and $35 for two events, entry includes an event T-shirt. Applications are available at the Walnut Gymnasium and Teen Center and on the City website at www.cityofwalnut.org.
Completed forms will be accepted at the Gymnasium by February 26, 2018.
