WALNUT, CA — It was a moment that was too cute to not share for one local family enjoying their 15-minutes of fame. In the last game of the season for this Walnut Pony Baseball league "FOAL" team, little 3-year-old Lennox Salcedo's stunt running in slow motion was hilarious and painful to watch at the same time. Whatever it was, it soon went viral and his slo-mo antics zipped across the internet.

On that bright Sunday morning, families headed to the fields to watch a group of 3- and 4-year-old kids play ball.

When it was time for Lennox Salcedo to head home, his Walnut Pony Baseball League coach--who happens to be his dad, Edgar Salcedo--urged him to run as fast as he could from third base to home, the Walnut Pony Baseball League told Patch.

Social media shares of the comedic display from across the globe show the little boy delivered big time.

The best part is when he brushes off his father, who urges him to move faster, the league said.

The Walnut Pony Baseball League, who hosts the International World Series for the mustang division (9 year olds) in July, has enjoyed sharing Lennox's triumph with the world as many teams from across the globe will come to play over the summer. The League expects teams from the Caribbean, Asia, Mexico and other states in the United States to play in the IWS this July.

"It’s exciting to see so much interest, and it puts our little city on the map, showing that there’s never a dull moment in FOAL division (3 and 4 year olds)," they said. "We love the young ones. They bring fun and energy to the league."

The social media storm that followed has included over 6.7 million views on Twitter, along with a plea to Ellen Degeneres to host the family on her show.
