CalTrans Oops Leaves Locals Laughing From Typo on Eastbound I-80

VACAVILLE, CA- A social media post by Vacaville PIO, Mark Mazzaferro, is making its way through Facebook as locals and travelers poke fun at a typo on a new I-80 eastbound road sign. The sign should read "Redding" but instead reads "Reddinig" with an added 'i' in the spelling.

The PIO added in the comments that he doesn't know why the sign was replaced, and there is no mention of when it will be corrected.
