Dixon Man Identified In Fatal Rollover Near Vacaville
Investigators with California Highway Patrol Solano Area suspect alcohol was a factor in the solo-vehicle crash.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Solano County coroner's office has identified the victim of a solo-vehicle crash Friday night in unincorporated Solano County near Vacaville as William Stevens, 51, of Dixon.
For unknown reasons, Stevens lost control of a 2007 Honda Civic on N. Meridian Road south of Elizabeth Road around 7:20 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The car rolled over several times, the CHP said.

Stevens was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, according to the coroner's office.
The cause of the crash is still being investigated, with alcohol suspected as a factor, according to the CHP.

"Relate that you have information for CHP - Solano and Officer Barday who is handling this investigation," said CHP Officer David Harvey. "Any information obtained in regards to this collision will be greatly appreciated."
