Dixon Man Killed Over Weekend Identified
The bicyclist was killed Sunday when he was hit by a pickup.
A Dixon man was killed while riding a bicycle when he was struck from behind by a pickup truck near Dixon Sunday afternoon.
The Solano County coroner’s office identified the bicyclist as 50-year-old Daniel Leon.
He was pronounced dead at 4:08 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said Leon was riding east on Porter Street near S. Lincoln Street around 3:45 P.M. when an eastbound 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck struck him from behind.
The pickup driver, Julian Vega, 35, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, the CHP said. The collision closed Porter Street for two hours during the investigation.
