Downtown Traffic Detour: Downed Lines

DIXON, CA- Traffic in downtown Dixon will be a mess at school dismissal due to downed utility lines on South First Street.

Police officials say that South First will be closed between West Walnut St. and West Chestnut St. for several hours due to a traffic collision and down power lines.

A detour was up around 1 p.m. Tuesday and is expected to be affected until midnight. PG&E is not reporting any services affected at this time.

Officials ask drivers to please drive with extreme caution while in the area.
