Fatal Incident at Midway and Sikes Roads

DIXON, CA- A single vehicle crash left one man dead, officials say.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. Tuesday when a white four-door sedan veered off the road, crossing a ditch, ending up in the middle of a field.

Fire crews were alerted nearly an hour later that the car, appearing empty, had not moved in over an hour.

Officials say a medical emergency could have been the cause of the accident, however, the coroner has not confirmed details.
