Fire Behind Quik Stop Market Extinguished: Vacaville Fire Dept.

VACAVILLE, CA — The Vacaville Fire Department quickly extinguished a vegetation fire in a field behind a Quik Stop Market on Thursday afternoon.

Fire Chief Kris Concepcion said the 1-2-acre fire at 1091 Leisure Town Road near Orange Drive was reported around 1:45 p.m. The fire was controlled in about 15 minutes, Concepcion said.

The fire started on the side of the road but the cause is not known, Concepcion said. No injuries were reported.
