Fuel-Truck Rollover Blocks I-80 Ramp, Lane In Solano County
A black pickup truck spun out and collided with a big rig, causing the semi to overturn near Travis Blvd., according to preliminary reports.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — A semi truck overturned Monday and leaked fuel near a freeway on-ramp to westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol. A Sig-alert was issued at 11:25 a.m. because of the crash at the Travis Boulevard on-ramp to westbound Highway 80.
Shortly after 11 a.m., a black pickup truck "spun out" and collided with the big rig, causing the semi to roll over, according to preliminary reports from the CHP.
The slow lane and shoulder of westbound I-80, as well as the Travis Boulevard on-ramp to westbound I-80, were still blocked as of 1:30 p.m., according to the CHP.

Minor injuries were reported in the wreck, which caused a yet-to-be-determined amount of fuel to leak, according to the CHP.
Personnel with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to the scene.

There was no immediate estimate from the CHP as to when the ramp might reopen.
