Huge Shop Small Vendor Fair in Dixon

Seventy vendors will gather at The Barn and Pantry Nov. 23 for an epic small business event

DIXON, CA — By now most people know that The Barn and Pantry in Dixon will take any opportunity, so it’s no surprise that, although their one year anniversary was in April, their coffee bar anniversary in November so they’re throwing a party for that too. This time they have invited nearly 70 of their closest business owner friends to celebrate with them for a Shop Dixon holiday vendor fair. Join them at 125 W A Street on November 23 from 9am-5pm for a shop till you drop party.

Grab your coffee, mimosa, tea or other beverage from their specialty coffee bar, and enjoy browsing through 70 booths of jewelry makers, crafters, clothing boutiques, makeup consultants, apothecaries, music, books, pottery, canine accessories, home decor, fibers, floral arrangements, baked goodies, wines and so much more.

“We love bringing entrepreneurs together because we believe a rising tide sales all ships,” says owner Lindsey Hickman, “So what better way to celebrate our accomplishments than to gather everyone together for a gigantic shopping experience. It brings a whole new accessibility to shopping locally when you can do it all in one place like this.”

Hickman also wants to let guests know that they aren’t the only ones in Dixon to visit that day.

She explained, “Dixon florist started this holiday shopping day more than 30 years ago in their floral shop, they continue to bring out the Christmas spirit early, inviting the community to take the stress out of commercial gift buying and finding those unique, thoughtful gifts for each person you are buying for. Many other Dixon stores will be offering specials for the day including Algood Ink gift certificate, B’s Gallery, Cynde’s Place, Sister’s Salon, and La Petite Salon.”

For those who are unfamiliar, The Barn and Pantry opened in April 2018 as an all local sustainably farmed market in Downtown Dixon, quickly outgrowing their space and moving to a larger location at the corner of A Street and North First Streets. They added an organic coffee bar where they make all of their syrups in house, incorporating seasonal flavors from local farms, organic pastries and sandwiches, craft wine and beers, and now even art exhibits, classes, live music and open mic nights.
