Police Bring Pizza and K-9 Recruiting Youth Cadets

Chaplain Bob Duvall and his K-9 companion Kepi hosted Pizza With a Cop at Dixon High School.

DIXON, CA- Dixon Police Department is recruiting young police cadets, using a canine to lure in the teens.

On Friday, April 29, Dixon Police Chaplain Bob Duvall and his K-9 companion Kepi visited Dixon High School for Pizza With a Cop, a free youth event to develop comfortable relationships between law enforcement and students.

Students learned that Kepi is one of the first police chaplain K-9 officers in the State of California, and that he is trained and certified by POST to offer unique services during times of trauma.
