Sac County Thanks Community Members for 400k Volunteer Hours in 2015
Volunteers will be honored at the Board of Supervisors meeting on April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at 700 H Street, Board Chambers.

SACRAMENTO, CA- Sacramento County will celebrate the many volunteers who gave their heart and time to programs and services in 2015, providing more than 400,000 hours of service to the community in 2015. The volunteers will be honored at the Board of Supervisors meeting on April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at 700 H Street, Board Chambers.

FEATURE VOLUNTEER: NINA MCMAHAN gave an average of 35 to 40 hours a week in the Sheriff’s Property Crime Bureau and is responsible for them being the most successful agency in California for pawn shop related investigations. Her tireless efforts have solved countless crimes and have aided in the successful prosecution of criminals in Sacramento County and other surrounding areas. Her passion for her work has led to more detectives being assigned to the Property Crimes Bureau and therefore, more crimes being investigated.
