Sacramento Area Flood Advisory Remains Until 9:45 a.m.

NWS says in a tweet that an observer from Pacific House, CA (3396 ft) just reported a 6 day rain total of 4.63 inches as of this morning.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento says an urban and small stream flood advisory remains in effect until 9:45 a.m. this morning for several counties throughout northern and central California.

The bulletin lists the following flood prone areas:

  • SOUTHWESTERN PLACER COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • SOLANO COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • SOUTHWESTERN EL DORADO COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
  • SOUTHERN SUTTER COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • SOUTHWESTERN TUOLUMNE COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
  • AMADOR COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
  • CALAVERAS COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
  • SACRAMENTO COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • YOLO COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
  • STANISLAUS COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA

Commuters are urged to slow down and avoid areas where water covers the roadway.
