Skip Thomson Endorses David C. Isom for Solano County Supervisor
Isom cites homelessness, affordable housing, family violence prevention, water issues among concerns he plans to address
Fairfield, Calif. | Supervisor Skip Thomson, who will not seek reelection to the Solano County Board of Supervisors, has endorsed David C. Isom, the Senior Pastor of the St. Stephen CME Church and the President of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District's Governing Board, who is running to fill the seat that Skip is vacating. Pastor Isom has a long history of community service and has shown his care and concern for our community in tangible ways, which he knows can be continued on a larger scale when he is elected to serve the citizens Solano County supervisorial District 5, and the community at large.
Pastor Isom is people focused and has served on the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District’s Governing Board since 2010. He has a Masters In Governance and is an expert in Family Violence Prevention, having earned a Doctorate from the San Francisco Theological Seminary (San Anselmo) in May 2018.
Citing homelessness, affordable housing, family violence prevention and victim services, county staffing, senior housing, water issues, access and barriers to services and other social concerns within Solano County are some of the items that he plans to address.
