If you're planning to attend Fiesta Days in Vacaville this weekend, expect a heavy police presence aimed at keeping intoxicated drivers off the road.

The Avoid the Solano 11 DUI Task Force will deploy special roving DUI patrols in the City of Vacaville looking to stop and arrest impaired drivers.
The Avoid the Solano 11 DUI Task Force is composed of 11 local law enforcement agencies dedicated to combating drunk driving. The program is called the Avoid DUI Campaign because motorists can “avoid” being arrested by not drinking and driving.DUI enforcement operations will take place May 24th, 25th and 26th from 6 pm to midnight.
A briefing will be conducted at the Vacaville Police Department on Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 6 pm.Please see the attached media advisory for more information.
