Ticketmaster Set to Begin Selling Directly Through Facebook
The ticket retailer has teamed up with the most downloaded app in 2015 for a one-click shop tailored to phone users.

PALO ALTO, CA- Facebook users will soon be able to save a couple extra clicks when purchasing event tickets, as Ticketmaster joins the long list of companies selling directly from the social media platform, according to Buzzfeed.
Ticketmaster Vice President Dan Armstrong told Buzzfeed:
“By putting the ability to buy tickets directly within Facebook we hope that we’re going to provide a more seamless purchase experience and sell more tickets.”

According to Nasdaq, the Facebook app was the most downloaded app in 2015, and Ticketmaster wants to capitalize on the social media's popularity.
The ticket retailer will reportedly begin by selling only select general admission events, and will expand after its success is evaluated.

Tickets will be available for purchase under Facebook’s ‘Events’ page by clicking “Buy Tickets,” and will not cost the user any additional fees.
