Traffic Alert: I-80 Big-Rig Crash Blocks Lanes Near Dixon

DIXON, CA — A Sig-alert was issued for Interstate Highway I-80 Monday morning north of Dixon due to a collision involving a big-rig. The crash was reported at about 10 a.m. and the Sig-alert was issued at 10:42 a.m. for I-80 at the Pedrick Road on-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol.

A white sedan reportedly spun out, hit the center divider and collided with a semi truck, leaving the No. 1 lane blocked in both directions, CHP dispatchers reported.

An ambulance was requested at the scene.
