Vacaville Council Delays Lagoon Valley Project, Cannot Stop It
The Mayor of Vacaville delayed the project approval at the second reading, but says it won't stop the project.

VACAVILLE, CA- The Vacaville City Council delayed their final approval for development at the second reading of the of Lagoon Valley project proposal Tuesday, following strong local opposition.
The Daily Republic reports, many residents spoke against the plan at the City Council meeting, raising concerns for the impacts of building on the nearly 870-acre site, and questioning the new construction of a golf course following the recent closure of Vacaville’s Green Tree Golf Club last month.
The Mayor, Len Augustine, reportedly told residents that the council hears them and would like more information about what would happen if the they deny the development agreement.
