2 Shot in Glassell Park near Border with Eagle Rock
ABC7 reports that a man has died in the shooting, and a female victim has been taken to a hospital.

Two people have been shot near Sagamore Way and Avenue 42 in the Glassell Park area, one of them fatally, police say. The shooting happened about a half block west of the 2 Freeway and the border with Eagle Rock.

Paramedics were sent to the 4400 block of West Avenue 42 at 10:51 a.m., said Katherine Main of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
According to Richard French of the Los Angeles Police Department, a male died at the scene and a female was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Their ages were not immediately known.
ABC7 reported that the suspects fled in a black Mustang convertible.
